2024 GES Promotion: Application Deadline For Teaching And Non-Teaching Staff

Officially, the Ghana Education Service (GES) has opened the 2024 Promotion Portal. Let’s take a look at the application deadline.

GES opened the promotion portal for both teaching and Non-Teaching staff. For teaching staff, the following grades are available for teachers to apply.

The grades include;

a) Deputy Director

b) Assistant Director I

c) Assistant Director II

d) Principal Superintendent

QUALIFICATION

Deputy Director

An applicant should have been promoted to the grade of Assistant Director I on or before 2019 and should have been continuously at post since date (except for periods of approved leave of absence).

Assistant Director I

An applicant should have been promoted to the grade of Assistant Director II on or before 2019 and should have been continuously at post since date (except for periods of approved leave of absence).

Assistant Director II

An applicant should have been promoted to the grade of Principal Superintendent on or before 2019 and should have been continuously at post since date (except for periods of approved leave of absence).

Principal Superintendent

An applicant should have been promoted to the grade of Senior Superintendent I on or before 2019 and should have been continuously at post since date (except for periods of approved leave of absence).

Also for Non-Teaching staff, the following grades are available to apply.

2. INTERNAL AUDIT CLASS

Chief Internal Audit II
Deputy Chief Internal Audi I & II
Principal Internal Audit

3. NON-ACCOUNTING CLASS – ADMINISTRATION CLASS

Chief Administrative Officer II
Deputy Chief Administrative Officer I & II
Principal Administrative Officer

4. CATERING CLASS

Chief Domestic Bursar
Deputy Chief Domestic Bursar
Principal Domestic Bursar
Senior Matron
Matron

5. ADMINISTRATIVE CLASS

Senior Administrative Officer
Administrative Officer Assistant
Administrative Officer

6. TECHNICAL CLASS

MODE OF APPLICATION

All applicants must log on to the GES website and apply.

NB:

Complete the APPLICATION FORM and upload a passport-sized photograph.
Upload only your last Promotion or Upgrading or Appointment Letter.
Applicants using Masters/Doctorate Degree must upload their certificates.
All documents uploaded should be in PDF format with the exception of the passport-sized photograph.
Upload clear and readable documents.
