KNUST Announces 57th Congregation
Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, has officially announced its 57th Special Congregation Ceremonies scheduled to take place from Thursday, 21st to Saturday, 23rd March, 2024.
Graduands who completed their Programmes of Study after the last Congregation in November 2023 are required to pay a graduation fee of Gh¢400.00. This fee covers Congregation Publications, Certificate Holder, University Souvenirs, Graduation Photographs, and Administrative Costs. Payments can be made at various banks including Ecobank, GCB Bank, UBA, Stanbic Bank, and others.
To facilitate the process, graduands must provide essential information including their Name, Programme of Study, Examination Index Number, Student ID Number, Contact Address, Telephone Number, and Email Address at the bank.
Upon payment, graduands are to present their receipts to collect their Academic Gown and Graduation Souvenirs at designated points from Tuesday, 19th March, 2024. Gowns and Souvenirs collection points are specified according to the level of study: Republic Hall for Masters Programmes, Independence Hall for Undergraduate Programmes, and Great Hall Foyer for PhD Programmes. Alternatively, Academic Gowns and Souvenirs may be collected earlier at the Estate Organisation from Monday, 11th March, 2024.

Rehearsals for Graduands attending the Congregation will be held at the Great Hall.
The 57th Special Congregation Ceremonies mark a significant milestone for KNUST and its graduates, underscoring the university’s commitment to academic excellence and the celebration of scholarly achievements.

Rehearsals for Graduands attending the Congregation will be held at the Great Hall, KNUST on March 20th, 21st, and 22nd, 2024, at 4:30 pm, tailored to the respective ceremony dates.
Graduands are expected to be seated thirty minutes before each Programme in the Academic Gown appropriate to their Programme of Study/College, preferably over a suit/jacket with a University Tie/Scarf or other suitable but decent attire.

Certificates will be distributed at the School of Graduate Studies for all Postgraduates and at the Allotey Auditorium (College of Science Auditorium) for all Undergraduates.
