The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced some important updates regarding the release of your results.
Here’s what you need to know:
- New website for checking results: WAEC has switched to a new website for checking the 2023 WASSCE results. You can access your results on Ghana.waecdirect.org once they are released.

- Projected release date: The projected release date for the 2023 WASSCE results is December 14, 2023. However, this is only an estimate, and the actual release date might be earlier or later.
Preparation tips:

- Review your examination number (Index Number) and personal details: Make sure you have your examination number and personal details readily available. You will need them to access your results.

How to check the 2023 WASSCE results online
- Visit the result portal at https://ghana.waecdirect.org/
- Enter your Index Number.
- Select the Type of Examination (e.g. WASSCE).
- Select your Examination Year eg. 2003.
- Enter the Serial Number found on the Voucher.
- Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Voucher eg. 012345678912.
- Confirm your Index Number and Examination Year. This is to ensure that your examination information is correct.
- Click on Submit and wait for the display in the popup window. This may take several minutes.
