Colleges of Education Affiliated to UDS

There are six colleges of education in Ghana that are affiliated to University for Development Studies (UDS). Students in these colleges of education receive academic certificates at the end of their study from UDS during graduation ceremony.

Below are the names for all college of Education Affiliated to UDS

Tumu College of Education- Primary, Early Grade and JHS Education
McCoy College of Education, Nadowli- Primary and JHS Education
Dambai College of Education-Early Grade, Primary and JHS Edu.
Gambaga College of Education-Primary, Early Grade & JHS Education
St. Vincent College of Education- Yendi- Primary, Early Grade & JHS Education
Al -Faruq –College of Education, Wenchi- Primary, Early Grade & JHS Education

HOW TO GET ADMISSION INTO COLLEGES OF EDUCATION

Below is the full guide to the 2024 COE admissions. Follow the online application procedure below to apply.

Applicants can make a payment of Three Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHS300.00) into the Colleges of Education, Ghana Account at any branch of the Consolidated Bank, Ghana (CBG) Limited.
Applicants can also make payment through mobile money wallet: Tigo Cash, Vodafone cash, Airtel Money, and MTN Mobile Money by dialing the short code *924*8# on all networks.
Upon payment, applicants will receive the following key information:

Personal Identification Number (PIN).
An Admission Application Serial Number.

GUIDELINES FOR COMPLETING THE ONLINE APPLICATION PROCESS

Applicants should use the PIN to visit the Colleges of Education admission website: admission.coeportal.edu.gh and follow specific guidelines to fill the online application form.
Applicants are advised to read and ensure that they fully understand all relevant instructions, especially programmes offered in a particular college, before completing the application form.
Applicants are to note that application forms that are not properly completed will not be processed.
