2023 GES Reposting/Release Letters Out (More details here)
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has started the issuing of 2023 Reposting/Release Letters to successful applicants.
ExamHall education news portal can confirm that the GES is facilitating the transfer or relocation of teaching staff who applied for transfers.
The transfers are solely based on the 2023 inter/intra Regional transfer conditions recently made public by the service in a public notice regarding re-positing.
Teachers who applied for GES Reposting/Release Letters expected that the service would have sped up the processes since the academic calendar was returning to the September/October start.
However, due to the challenges associated with this calendar adjustment, the letters were delayed.
This portal has been informed by a deep-throat source that the Ghana Education Service has commenced the issuance of letters to eligible applicants who meet the necessary criteria for relocation.
Teachers who are expecting their 2023 GES Reposting/Release Letters but have not received them are to get in touch with their District Directorate of Education for updates.
In a related development, Mr. Kwasi Kwarteng, the Public Relations Office has stated that the 2023 academic calendar for KG/Primary and JHS schools will remain unchanged.
Public basic schools are expected to reopen on 3rd October 2023 along with some private schools. Other private basic schools will reopen on 10th October 2023 for the first term of the 2023/2024 academic year.
The new academic year will follow the standard school calendar that schools were using before COVID-19 set in and disrupted academic activities globally.
Parents and guardians are to ensure their learners return to school when school reopens in October. The first term of the 2023/2024 academic year is projected to end by 22nd December 2023.
Parents are advised to reduce the cost of books by buying books listed for their ward’s new classes before school reopens since prices of educational materials shoot up as soon as schools are in session.
